Where and how will the pictures be taken?

We will photograph your child/children at your home, in your garden, at the park, or anywhere they feel comfortable (if long distance travelling is involved an additional charge may apply).

We won’t ask you or your child/children to pose all of the time. Most of the photos will be taken while you and your child/children play together. We find that relaxed photographs show the true character of your child, and this type of photography can be complimentary to those which are posed.



When will the pictures be taken?

The photo session will be booked at a time and date that suits you and your family. The best results are achieved with good daylight, therefore we suggest that you book your session during the day, rather than evening.
Appointments on Saturdays and Sundays can be booked at no extra cost.



What happens with the photographs after the session?

We will book the final presentation of your pictures to you, to take place approximately one week after the photo-shoot.



What if my child is not well and doesn’t enjoy the session?

Having a young child ourselves we understand that sometimes they can feel under the weather. In those circumstances we can offer the opportunity to re-book one session at no extra charge.



How long will the session take?

Normally an hour is long enough, however, there are children who need time to get used to the camera. If this is the case, we may stay for up to two hours at no extra cost.



When and how can I pay for the photo-session?

We accept credit/debit card payments. We have a portable terminal which allows you transfer funds to us in a totally secure manner. You can pay using this facility at your home on the day of the session.

We also accept bank transfers, if you wish to pay this way please ensure that payment reaches our account before the planned session.



What area do you cover?

Within a thirty mile radius of Olney, Buckinghamshire.
Please contact us if you live outside this area as we still may be able to help you.



Who will be photographed apart from my child/children?

We will take photos of your child/children on their own, with parents or with older/younger siblings. You may also wish to invite grandparents. However, from our experience the more people involved the less time there will be for individual shots. Also your child/children may get tired, or distracted by the presence of people they do not see regularly.



How can I prepare for the session?

It is quite simple and there is very little that we ask you to do. Please make sure that there is a lot of natural light in the room/rooms where you want the photos to be taken (open the curtains, blinds etc). You may prepare a few changes of clothes for your child/children and yourselves if you wish, but this is not necessary. Please ensure that your child/children have their favourite toys around and let us do the rest.

I would like to have larger printouts. Can you arrange this?

Yes, at extra cost we will prepare high resolution pictures and order large print outs of your choice.

How long will you keep our pictures for?

We will archive your photographs for up to a year, so you can re-order them after your session
